Northridge Care
Staff

The staff employed by Northridge Healthcare are chosen very carefully they are all fully trained and have a passion to deliver the highest standards of care to all of our guests.

The Managing Director, Neill Aidan Winch, is the Registered Provider and the responsible person for Registration with Care Quality Commission. He has extensive knowledge and experience of providing care over a period spanning more than 15 years. Having sold his previous care agency, which was very successful and had an excellent reputation in the care that it provided, he then decided that he wanted to focus on delivering care in a different way.

Through research it was discovered that providing a place such as Seaview for respite or for more permanent guests was a much needed and more desired way to enable people receive care and support, especially for those with more complex needs. Seaview is unlike a conventional nursing home or respite home, guests/residents at Seaview really do reap the rewards of being part of a community where they are surrounded by their like-minded, more active neighbours.

Other members of the senior team are Donna Winch, DipSW, Operations Director for Healthcare Division of Danieli Holdings, developing our domiciliary care business, Northridge and our Recruitment Agency.

The home is currently being managed by Pauline Elleithy, who is a RGN, with 46 years Nursing experience. She brings to the home, clinical expertise, management skills and a warm, friendly atmosphere.

All of our team possess the ability to care in a sympathetic but professional manner and have empathy with our guests. When recruiting staff we look for good experience and background, capability, personality, reliability and consistency. Our company policies embrace rigorous recruitment checks before employment.

Throughout the company all members of staff are fully supported, with continuing supervision, formal appraisals and staff meetings. Training is compulsory at all levels and in all areas of specialist care. Each member of staff is trained to the correct level to enable them to work safely and confidently with all of our guests. All of our staff training is delivered by competent and appropriately qualified trainers and competency levels are checked and monitored by our Qualified Nurses.

All of our personal assistants must commit to train to NVQ level 2 or above.

A qualified nurse will always be on duty 24 hours a day for our guests with more complex health needs so that their families and loved ones can feel confident that their medical needs will be met at all times. This includes the administration of medication.
